Downloads and Uploads

Does anyone know if my itunes downloads will work with another mp3 player?

Namely, an XO vision 2gb cheapie? My 10 year old is getting one for Christmas and I have tons and tons of downloads on my itunes account as well as cd's (mine and hers) added on. Will these downloads work on this mp3 player? Does it have to be an ipod? I refuse to get a 10 year old an ipod, she's a bit too irresponsible. Sweet...that is such good news.

1. Yes they will, they are al mp3, so you can play them.
2. When you start using your mp3 player, most lkely it will come with some kind of program where you will store all of the music for that type of mp3 player. i.e. iTunes with your iPod. Make both programs, iTunes and the other program, smaller so that you can see both of the windows on the same screen without them overlapping. Click and drag songs from iTunes to the other program. It should work.
