How do I get Kaspersky to stop killing my Utorrent downloads?

Whenever I kick on utorrent with kaspersky on my downloads go at a snails pace. As soon as I turn off Kaspersky they all shoot way up. So apparently im having some kind of connection problem between them. Iv tried googling this, but what little info I find on this is really complicated. Does anyone know what the problem might be and how to fix it?

1. Open Kaspersky > in left click on Firewall > settings > add > either by browse or by applications > search for the Utorrent icon either on desktop or in program file >then allow all+evrything there at Templets.. it works great and give u green sighn on the utorrent connections icon - with maximum speed.
