How to create Upload field on my website that sends me an email as soon as someone uploads something?

I would like to include an upload field to my website that sends me an email as soon as somebody uploads something. The cause for this is to let people apply for a job and submit their resumes and application forms online. At the same time I need to know immediately when somebody applied for a job. Source code would be awesome or better ideas how i could handle this is appreciated as well. Thanks in advance

1. Well, if you wrote script to Upload file to your site, it will much less effort to inlcude email functionality in the same upload script. source code depends on what language(asp, perl, php...etc) you used to write upload script.
