Downloads and Uploads

How do I make downloads and uploads on limewire faster?

My internet connection is 56Mbs, but i can only download about 120kbs and upload 5kbs.

1. Upgrade your Internet to DSL or Cable, or install some addt'l RAM.
2. Don't run a million other programs when you are downloading. It works for me.
3. This is what I use and it helps some...LimeWire Acceleration Patch... http://www.download-boosters.com/ Keep in mind that you are still limited to what other users have their upload speed settings clamped to, but this will give you as fast it you can get for Limewire.
4. i'm pretty sure your internet is not 56 Mbps. You probably have DSL at 1.5 Mbps. go to www.speedtest.net to test your internet speed.
