What freeware can I use to restore my ipod songs to I tunes?

I transferred all my Media from my laptop to a portable hard drive. Unfortunately i did not think of how this would affect my I Tunes library. Is there any freeware I can use to restore my music and playlists to I Tunes from my Ipod?

1. http://www.copytoy.com/ - try that. have you still got all ur songs on your portable hard drive? if you have... just change the location of the iTunes folder... if you don't know how to do this, this is how... - go to edit, then preferences (windows) or iTunes then preferences (Mac) - then, go to "Advanced" on the tabs bit... - then, at the top, it will say "iTunes media folder location". - then, u click change, and select the folder you want the songs to be saved in...
