Is it legal to burn music for your personal use and block Uploads?

1. If it's commercial music and you've purchased it from a retailer, then yes, it's perfectly legal to make a copy and store it. I've done that with ALL of my CDs as a form of backup, but also so that I can play them from the computer or listen to them on the mp3 player. It is illegal to make that collection available to others though.
