1. that's a siberian (pearl?) or better known as the winter white. i know this for absoloutley sure because i own one.
2. Be careful when getting any type of dwarf hamster. They are aggressive and angry things. When going in to choose one have the person at the pet store hold it first so you can see how tame it is. I know from experience, I worked in a pet store and had more then one attatch itself to my finger when trying to get near them
3. Don't let the cuteness over power you! I felt the SAME way when I saw dwarf hamsters. Dwarf hamsters are VICIOUS and they DON'T like to be handled AT ALL and BITE! Get a Syrian hamster, AKA the Golden, Panda Bear, Black Bear, Teddy Bear..... Syrian hamsters are much nicer. There is alot to know about hamsters, so take your time and do some reaserch so you know exactly how to care for them. Hamsters need alot os special things that most humans neglect to give them. Again, Stay strong! Fight back against their cuteness becasue they aren't nice! LoL I am still drawn to the dwarfs but I know not to get one. =]
